Located about 80km from Hanoi, Tam Dao offers visitors unique weather experiences: gentle spring breezes in the early morning, warm summer sunlight at noon, the soft autumn winds in the afternoon, and the chilly winter air as night falls.
Visiting Tam Dao, you will also have the chance to explore fascinating attractions such as: Wind Café (Quán Gió Tam Đảo), the Ancient Stone Church, Silver Waterfall (Thác Bạc), Heaven’s Gate (Cổng Trời), and Truc Lam Tay Thien Zen Monastery. Additionally, you can enjoy the region's local specialties.
Schedule
08:00 AM: The VietNam Hidden Charm company’s car and tour guide pick up guests at the designated meeting point for an exciting Tam Dao tour.
On the way to Tam Dao town, guests will enjoy the peaceful scenery and fresh air, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of city life and immersing in the vast, beautiful nature.
10:30 AM: Arrive in Tam Dao. Guests can take a short break and enjoy the fresh air.
11:00 AM: Lunch at a local restaurant. While waiting to check in at the hotel, guests can relax or explore the surrounding area.
02:00 PM: Check-in at the hotel.
03:00 PM: The tour guide takes guests to visit:
Silver Waterfall (Thác Bạc): Located in the center of Tam Dao, this tall waterfall originates from mountain springs, cascading through the lush greenery, creating a breathtakingly cool and refreshing sight.
Ancient Stone Church: One of the few remaining historical architectural works in Tam Dao, surviving the ravages of war. From here, guests can admire the dreamy and mystical panorama of Tam Dao and capture beautiful photos.
Heaven’s Gate (Cổng Trời Tam Dao): Located near the stone church, offering a spectacular view of Tam Dao town, which appears mystical in the mist.
06:00 PM: Dinner at a restaurant. Afterward, guests are free to explore Tam Dao at night, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take in the town’s serene evening atmosphere at Wind Café (Quán Gió). Overnight stay at the hotel.
07:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, guests check out of the hotel.
08:00 AM: Depart for Tay Thien Pagoda – one of the three largest Zen monasteries in Vietnam, featuring unique and magnificent Northern-style architecture.
Guests will experience the Tay Thien Pagoda cable car ride.
12:30 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant.
02:00 PM: Depart for Hanoi.
04:00 PM: Arrive in Hanoi. The tour guide and VietNam Hidden Charm team bid farewell and hope to see guests on future journeys.

- Travel Insurance: Full tour travel insurance with a maximum compensation of 10,000,000 VND per person.
- 1 bottle of drinking water per guest per day.

Notes
- Children from 10 years old and above: 100% of the tour price.
- Children from 05 – 09 years old: 50% of the tour price. If there is a second child or more, 75% of the tour price per child will be charged. (Children share a bed with parents).
- Children under 04 years old: Free of charge. Each family is allowed to bring one child under 05 years old for free; if there is a second child or more, 50% of the tour price will be charged. (Children share a bed with parents).
- The price applies to children sharing a bed with parents. If guests request a separate bed for children, 100% of the tour price must be paid.
- The price applies to customers from 10 to 69 years old. Customers aged 70 and above are required to provide a health certificate proving they are fit to travel and must be accompanied by a healthy relative under 60 years old.
- The price applies to Vietnamese customers. Foreign nationals, please contact the sales department for more details.
- Prices may change if airlines increase fuel surcharges or if visa fees change.
- Travel insurance does not cover losses arising from pre-existing medical conditions, congenital diseases or disabilities, HIV, AIDS and related illnesses, or chronic diseases, whether detected before or during the insurance period.
- The itinerary and flight schedule may vary depending on the specific departure date.
SUPPLEMENT POLICY FOR HOLIDAYS AND FESTIVAL PERIODS
Additional 20% surcharge for holiday periods: 1/1, 30/4, 1/5, 2/9, 31/12, Lunar New Year, etc.
TOUR PAYMENT POLICY (after confirmation):
Customers must deposit 50% of the tour price after confirming the booking. The remaining 50% must be paid at least 15 days before the tour departure.
TOUR CHANGE POLICY (after confirmation):
After registering for the tour, cancellations are not allowed. Deposits are non-refundable in case of cancellation.
- If Party A cancels the trip more than 7 days before departure, Party A must compensate Party B with 50% of the total contract value.
- If Party A cancels the trip less than 7 days before departure, Party A must compensate Party B with 80% of the total contract value.
- If Party A postpones or cancels within 48 hours before departure, a penalty of 90% of the total contract value will be applied.
- If Party A unilaterally withdraws from the program without prior notice to Party B, Party A will not be entitled to any refunds for services.
- For airline tickets, Party B will follow the airline's regulations.
**In objective circumstances such as terrorism, natural disasters, or incidents and schedule changes of public transportation services such as airplanes or trains, the company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary at any time for the convenience and safety of customers. The company shall not be liable for any arising damages**.
